Our Story

VMA Labs was born out of a shared passion for health, performance, and helping others live stronger, healthier lives. 

What makes this company unique is that it began not as a business venture, but as a relationship built through family and faith.

Two years ago, the Van Mierlo family began hosting foreign exchange students. During that time, they had the opportunity to host Axel’s daughter, Jackie. What started as a cultural exchange quickly grew into a meaningful bond between the two families. Over time, that connection developed into a strong friendship rooted in shared values, mutual respect, and a passion for health and wellness.

As the friendship grew, so did the conversations about business, fitness, and the supplement industry. Greg VanMierlo had carried a dream for many years to develop a supplement line built on quality, transparency, and ingredients he truly believed in.

Greg’s passion for nutrition and performance began more than 30 years ago. During his college years, he managed a large supplement store, gaining firsthand experience in the industry and developing a deep understanding of what athletes and everyday individuals truly need to support their health and performance. That early experience, combined with decades of training, coaching, and personal dedication to fitness, laid the foundation for what would eventually become VMA Labs.

Through what both families believe was God’s perfect timing, the Van Mierlos and Axel found themselves in a position to bring this long-held vision to life together.
